ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility Statement
We want every Willowbrook homeowner to be able to use this site comfortably.
Our commitment
The Willowbrook Homeowners Association is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including neighbors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. We build and maintain this site with accessibility in mind, not as an afterthought.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is the standard widely used to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Every page is checked against this standard as part of how the site is built.
What that looks like here
- Text and background colors meet AA contrast ratios across the site.
- Every page works with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline on links, buttons, and menus.
- A "Skip to content" link lets keyboard and screen-reader users jump past the navigation.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings follow a clear, logical order so the page is easy to navigate by structure.
- Motion is gentle and respects the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system.
- The site is responsive and readable on phones, tablets, and desktops.
